What fun! I can tell that it is spring in Boulder if you are flying kites.
Ask your Mom about a kite flying experience in Oak Park when she was your age. That was with the whole family, what a blast.

Does the relative strength of the rubber band vs. the weight of the balloon matter? In other words, will the rubber band allow the balloon to get very close to the floor?
